The style of yoga taught is based on the Hatha / Sivanada School of Yoga system. There are sun salutes to build heat in the body and allow the muscles to stretch safely; followed by different asana postures always keeping in mind each person's individual needs.
Yoga, is the oldest science of life and can teach you to bring stress under control, not only on a physical level, but on mental and spiritual levels too.
I believe in the benefits of yoga, having experienced them herself. Yoga will assist you to:
- Relax and rejuvenate your mind
- Increase your physical strength and flexibility
- Explain your spiritual awareness
- Improve your concentration
- Help your body use oxygen and nutrients more efficiently
- Prevent illness and retard old age
“Asanas make one firm, free from maladies, and light of limb.”
Hatha Yoga Pradipika
Private classes are also offered, for those that would like more personalized attention or want to work on one or more specific Asana postures
Yoga therapy is an amazing way to treat different health conditions. They could be on a physical, emotional or mental level.
Yoga therapy combines in each session, counselling and asana postures to treat those individual health issues.
Anyone can practice Yoga, no matter what their age, condition or religion. Young or old, sick or fit. All can benefit from this discipline. After all, every one has to breathe, whatever their walk on life.
